Some signs a service or repair is needed

• Limescale appears on sinks, faucets and kettle
• Your water softener is going through too much salt
• Your softener is not using salt
• Your softener is making unusual noises
• Your softener is more than 10 years old
• You experience hard water signs like dry skin and hair
• You notice water pressure loss

Don’t forget your softener should be tested regularly to make sure it’s giving you soft water.

We also have extensive knowledge regarding repair of electric timer operated machines.  We can usually get you back up and running but spares are harder to come by, and these machines do not generally come with long warranties.

We will always endeavour to repair the fault on site during the initial call out, but if multiple faults occur and a solution is not found, we will remove the machine to be tested off site.  We will provide and fit a complimentary temporary machine (subject to availability) to get you back to soft water while your machine is diagnosed.       

The machines we sell come with a 10 year parts warranty and and a 2 year call out warranty but this may not be the case with other manufacturers.  If a part is required and is not covered by the manufactures warranty, we will inform you of the cost before repair, not just fit it and present you with a bill.    If your machine is within its 2 year free call out but you bought from another outlet, we will be happy to help you but our call out fee will be applicable.

We are confident we can keep your machine working to its optimum but if it has come to the end of its useful life and uneconomic to repair, we will offer our advice and knowledge to enable you to make an informed decision on the best option for you.
